Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPYS)

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are sad to announce this year’s 2020 Oakland ESPY Awards event has been canceled. However, stay tuned as we are excited to announce that we will be awarding scholarships to the top student-athletes in Oakland!

Our annual red carpet event recognizes Oakland’s student-athletes for their academic, athletic and community achievements as well as the work of our extraordinary coaches.

Oakland’s top student-athletes receive over $30,000 in academic scholarships.

It’s one of the highlights of our year and an event you don’t want to miss.

Awards include:
  • OAL Male & Female Middle School Athletes of the Year
  • OAL Male & Female High School Athletes of the Year
  • OAL Middle & High School Coaches of the Year
  • Oakland Athletic League (OAL) All-Academic Teams
